Factors taken into
account when computing pensions benefits include:
APE = Annual Pensionable Emoluments
(Average of the best salaries for five years during membership
period)
PS = Pension Service (The Contributory
period in Months)
PF = Pension Factor/Accrual rate
(1/600)
Please note that
the Pension Factor of (1/600) is applicable only for the pensionable
service period for which 20% was contributed.
For service period with less than 20% contribution, pension
factor of (1/960) is applicable for that period.
